MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) has committed to utilize its P279-billion budget for 2025 “responsibly, judiciously, and prudently” in support of the agenda of the Marcos administration.
Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla also welcomed the approval of the P6.32-trillion national budget.
Article continues after this advertisement“As the Department with the fourth-highest allocation at P279.1 billion, we extend our gratitude to President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. for his support of our mandate to foster excellence in local governance, promote peace and order, and enhance public safety for the development of resilient and inclusive communities,” Remulla said in a statement on Wednesday.

The workshops that started September 9 are reviewing and deliberating policies by NEP-IAC’s Subcommittee 2 led by the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (PNRI) and Subcommittee 5 headed by the DOE.
In a commentary, property management firm Colliers said that the Create More Act (Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises to Maximize Opportunities for Reinvigorating the Economy) will bring benefits to the industry.
