MANILA, Philippines — Six people were injured following a suspected ethanol chemical leak that led to an explosion in Brgy. San Antonio, Makati, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported Wednesday.

According to the BFP, the incident occurred at around 5:20 p.m. at Globe Tech School, located at St. Paul near Mayapis Street.

In its latest update, the BFP said three of the injured individuals were turned over to their families, while the other three were taken to a hospital by Makati Rescue for medical treatment.
